It’s September (the 3rd specifically which means it’s Andrea’s first Birthday in Heaven-it’s also Ovarian cancer Awareness Month! I am ALWAYS going to remind people to listen to your body!

Ovarian Cancer symptoms are often non-specific and easily mistaken for other common conditions. There is NO ROUTINE SCREENING (no ladies, not detected in your Pap smear/annual appointment : There is currently no simple, reliable early-detection screening test for ovarian cancer (like a mammogram for breast cancer). Pay attention if these signs are new, persistent, or happen often:

Persistent bloating or swelling in the abdomen.
Pelvic or abdominal pain and cramping.
Feeling full quickly when eating (early satiety) or trouble eating.
Changes in bathroom habits, such as frequent urination, constipation, or diarrhea.
Unusual fatigue or back pain.

💕Oh Dolly, what a week! 🌧️ “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”
🌳 “Storms make trees take deeper roots.”
✨ “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”
💛 And don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.

Looking back, I’m grateful for all of it—the sunshine and the storms, the doors that opened and even the ones that didn’t. The people who have loved me, encouraged me, taught me, challenged me, and walked beside me have made the journey so much sweeter.

Life doesn’t always follow the road we pictured. Sometimes you have to change direction, start paving a new one, and be brave enough to try again.

And maybe that’s where the real blessing is—in realizing you don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to know who you are, love your people well, keep your roots deep, and keep looking for the rainbow. 🌈

So tonight, my heart is simply grateful. For where I’ve been, for where I am, and for whatever beautiful road is still ahead. ❤️
