Thinking about adding your adult child to your deed to avoid probate? 🏡 **Please talk to an attorney first.**

Adding someone to your deed isn't the same as naming a beneficiary—you may be giving them an ownership interest in your home **right now**, which can create unexpected issues with control, creditors, taxes, homestead, and even probate.
