Colleen brings 35 years of real estate expertise to her role as our Triad Region Training Navigator. Beyond her incredible industry background in agent development and property management, Colleen brings deep heart to everything she does. A Greensboro resident since 2009, she also serves as a Chief Judge in Guilford County elections and works with Parks & Recreation at the Greensboro Sportsplex.

Both Derrick and Gabby bring an incredible depth of experience, industry dedication, and purpose-driven leadership to our real estate community:

🔹 Derrick Thornton serves as the Broker-in-Charge of our Wake Forest office and a trainer for our firm's new agent program. Approaching real estate with the heart of a teacher, Derrick brings 12 years of industry experience and deep Triangle roots. Currently serving as RRAR’s President-Elect in his 7th year on the association's Board of Directors, Derrick’s leadership extends across all levels, including 4 years as a Director for NC REALTORS® and 1 year as an NAR Director.

🔹 Gabby Murillo brings 8 years of experience across residential, land, and commercial real estate, combining strategic expertise with genuine human connection. Currently serving on the RRAR Board of Directors and as Vice Chair of the Public Relations & Communications Committee, Gabby is a graduate of multiple Leadership Academies, including NC REALTORS®. She has served on the National Association of REALTORS® YPN Advisory Board, traveling across the country to speak to local and state associations, as well as serving on multiple NC REALTORS® committees and Chairing NCR’s YPN Committee. Her leadership extends deep into her local community through Sanford’s S3 Homelessness Task Force and the local library board.
