I miss officiating weddings on the beach, with the ocean stretching out behind us and the sound of waves accompanying a couple’s vows. Those moments will always hold a special place in my heart.

But I’ve also found so much beauty here in the Las Vegas area, offering intimate elopements by the lake or aboard a boat, surrounded by stunning mountain views.

A different setting, but that same joy of bringing two people together in a place that makes their moment feel special. 👫👭👬

Track every deposit and payment, ask about taxes and extra fees before booking, and leave a little room for unexpected expenses. Be thoughtful about your guest list, and give yourselves time to consider upgrades before saying yes. Most of all, remember that you don’t have to include every wedding trend a heartfelt ceremony and a celebration that feels like you are beautiful reasons to gather.

One of the most beautiful keepsakes a couple can have is a message to each other, captured in the moment. Years from now, they can watch it again and remember the happy tears, the laughter, and the words that came straight from the heart.

The wind tried very hard to be part of this love story, but the message still came through: “I love you with all my heart.” ❤️
