I am not a Donald Trump fan. I will never be a Donald Trump fan. But I felt this case was weak when it was initially filed. I haven’t kept up with all the counts and clearly haven’t kept up with all the evidence because I’m not there. I’ve got work of my own to do. But it does seem there has always been a question as to whether the money payments were made to further goals of the campaign. It has always been my contention that there is a reasonable defense that those payments were made for anything other than furthering the goals of the campaign.

1. one might pay a p**n star to keep her mouth shut so your wife doesn’t know you’re screwing a p**n star.

2. One might pay a p**n star to keep her mouth shut so your kids don’t know you’re screwing a p**n star.

3. One might pay a p**n star to keep her mouth shut so you aren’t embarrassed in front of the whole world because you’re a married man screwing a p**n star.

The prosecution knew when they brought this case that their witness was one of the most incredible characters on the political scene right now. If they have to rely on what he said for the jury to make a determination on whether the hush money payments were made to further the campaign, their case is Toast. Like I said, I haven’t really kept up with it, but from what I’ve heard in the news this case probably never should’ve been brought.

The Governor of the State of Texas pardoned a man for murder. Not because DNA proved he could not have committed the crime or because new evidence was introduced; but because he substituted his judgment for that of the greatest legal system in the world and decided this murder didn't really happen. Bu**sh*!!!

Casino Gambling coming to Texas?
I was invited to lunch with a few other individuals by a group advocating casino gambling in Texas. I was curious so I went.
The bill being pushed through allows for a total of 7 licenses only; and will require billions of dollars to qualify, with the commitment to build a mega-resort.
There are no provisions at all for mom and pop operations; or any mid-level companies to benefit....... AT ALL.
SEVEN LICENSES ONLY WITH THE COMMITMENT TO BUILD A MEGA-RESORT.
Want to see the neighborhood convenience store slots become legal now....NOPE....gotta have a billion.
Want to see Texas citizens other than billionaires be allowed to come together to operate a small slots house??? NOPE.....7 licenses only....no room for the little guy.
Oh, to be sure, you can work for them........but how dare you aspire to BE them.
I will be voting no......

A defendant found to be incompetent, who is also charged with a serious crime in the Great State of Texas; and ordered to be sent off for mental health treatment, has a FOUR YEAR WAIT to get a bed.

That is not an indication of a civilized state or country. They literally are expected to sit in jail for four years waiting to get a bed.
