Burns Sheppard Favors is now only handling Personal Injury cases!

This means we will no longer be accepting new family law cases or employment law cases. We are thankful for everyone who has referred us a case in those areas over the years. Please feel free to reach out to us if you never need a recommendation!

The purpose of the Young Lawyers Division is to stimulate and encourage the interest and participation of division members in the purposes of The Florida Bar. The YLD provides a full and complete program of activities and projects designed to be of interest and assistance to members, and to engage in such activities as shall tend to further the best interests of the legal profession.

The Board of Governors has the general management and control of affairs of the Young Lawyers Division and it may recommend to the president or president-elect of The Florida Bar members of the division to serve upon the various committees of The Florida Bar.

Brandon is a graduate of University of Florida College of Law. He brings over 10 years of legal experience to the firm. Prior to joining Burns Sheppard Favors, Brandon honed his trial skills as a Public Defender of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. He then went on to work for one of the Largest Personal Injury Firms in the country gaining valuable experience on Personal Injury cases!

Brandon is very active in the legal community having served as President of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association. He currently serves as Ninth Circuit Board of Governor of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, Board Member of the Orange County Bar Association, member of the University of Florida Law Alumni Council, and is appointed to the Ninth Judicial Circuit Professionalism Panel.

What a week for Attorney Penn! Sworn into the Florida Bar on Tuesday, sent a demand in this car accident case on Wednesday, and on Thursday he received word that his first settlement as an attorney would be for policy limits. Plenty more to come! Congratulations Reggie! 👏🏾

Our client’s son tragically lost his life in a shooting at an apartment complex. The complex had little to no security in place. A tough set of facts meant we were fighting an uphill battle and the insurance company originally denied liability and refused to make an offer. After almost 2 years we were able to resolve the case above our clients expectations. Congratulations to Attorney Sheppard on a great result👏🏾!
