Congratulations to Senior Counsel Philip Colesanti on securing a significant summary judgment victory on behalf of Alvarez Thompson & Smoak, P.A.’s client.

The Court granted Defendants' Motion for Summary Judgment arising from a slip-and-fall incident on a ramp adjacent to an area where rainwater had accumulated. Ultimately, the Court found that the condition at issue was open, obvious, recognizable, and not inherently dangerous.

This successful outcome reflects thorough preparation, strategic advocacy, and teamwork. Special recognition goes to Francesca L. De Vettori, who worked on the matter from the outset through the successful motion for summary judgment.
