The Bergen County Bar Association, in partnership with the Bergen County Surrogate's Court, is proud to continue the Guardianship Mentor Program, an initiative designed to prepare attorneys to serve in critical court-appointed guardianship roles.

As adult guardianship filings continue to rise throughout Bergen County, the need for qualified attorneys has never been greater. This program offers a unique opportunity to expand your practice, gain valuable mentorship, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable members of our community.

⚖️ Volunteers Needed: Domestic Violence Contempt Calendar

The Bergen County Bar Association is seeking attorneys for pro bono assignments on the Domestic Violence Contempt Calendar. These assignments may substitute for a Madden list appointment, allowing volunteers greater control over the type of case they receive and the timing of their service. Court appearances take place on Wednesdays.
