th our instructions and guidance, shooters with very limited or no experience do very well. We will return one hundred percent of your money if you fail the range qualification or we will work with you until you pass. According to Reece Trimmer, Harvard Law School Graduate and former Staff Attorney/Instructor at the North Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Salemburg, NC, trained law enforcement officers only hit their target 15% of the time in real life shooting situations. To increase your confidence and ability to shoot accurately during an extremely stressful real life shooting situation, I highly recommend that a shooter with little or no experience with a handgun take additional training in addition to your Concealed Handgun Carry Permit course
we offer basic firearms and safety classes as well.

If your Concealed Handgun Class was prior to the new laws becoming effective on 1 October, 2013 you may want to consider up-dating your training by attending the legal part of our Concealed Handgun Carry Class. From a Civil Liability point of view, you may be placing your life's savings and home equity on the line if you use deadly force in a situation where you were not legally allowed to do so. You could also face Criminal Charges and be sent to prison. Sorry, but we do not allow single action only cowboy styled revolvers. We do not consider this type of firearm to be adequate for defensive purposes in the hands of the average person. It is also very slow to load and reload. The only time we cancel or delay a class is when it is unsafe to shoot such as lightening, or ice. COMPLETE YOUR CLASS IN ONE DAY!

95,682. READ THAT NUMBER AGAIN.

According to FBI NCIC data, 95,682 missing-person entries involving Black females were recorded in the United States in 2025.

Of those, 19,771 involved Black women age 18 or older.

And this disparity is not new. The U.S. Department of Justice reported that in 2022, more than 36% of females reported missing were Black women and girls, even though Black women and girls represented approximately 14% of the U.S. female population.

These numbers deserve attention.

Personal safety begins long before an emergency occurs. Awareness. Avoidance. Preparation. Training. And, for adults who legally choose to carry a firearm, knowing how to do so safely, responsibly, confidently, and within the law.
