We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of one of our valued mailbox holders, Samantha G. (1986–2026). Our hearts go out to her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We had the pleasure of seeing her just last week, and it was wonderful to hear how happy she was seeing her child back on the football field.

At Mailbox Plus, we do so much more than just handle mail. We watch families grow, support each other through life’s ups and downs, and truly become a community. We feel honored that Samantha was a part of our mailbox family, and she will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Samantha.

25 years later, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, a day that changed our nation forever.

We remember the lives taken too soon and the families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and Americans who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness. We remember the people who ran toward danger to save others, the loved ones who waited and hoped, and the countless Americans who answered a moment of unimaginable tragedy with compassion, courage, and service.

Today and every day, we remember a time when our nation came together.

Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers reached out to strangers. Communities opened their doors and hearts. For a moment, our differences seemed small compared to the things that united us: our shared humanity, our love for one another, and our love for this country.

May we never forget the lives we lost, the heroes we continue to honor, and the spirit of courage and unity that emerged from the darkness.
