Hayk is seven. He loves cars more than anyone in this family, which is saying something. When he asked if he could invite people to come see them, we could not think of a single reason to say no.

So on Sunday, September 27, the garage is open. Exotic cars up close, photos, food, and a host who has been rehearsing his welcome speech for two weeks.

Handling it yourself sounds like the cheaper option, right up until you see what people actually sign.

We have seen dozens of release agreements from consumers who dealt with the manufacturer directly. Settlements of one to five thousand dollars, on cases worth fifty thousand to two hundred thousand. Cases that qualified for a full refund, closed out for a couple of thousand, because the person on the other end of the call knew exactly how much the person in front of them did not.

A release is final. Once it is signed, that is the end of it.

So before you sign anything, have someone read it.

Most people wait longer than they should.

The pattern is the same every time. Something is wrong, the dealer looks at it, it does not get fixed, and the whole thing gets filed under deal with it later.

If you have one or two repair records on the same problem, that is already enough to have a conversation. You do not need to work out for yourself whether you have hit some threshold, and you should not be waiting to find out.

Keep taking it in. Keep the paperwork. And call us.
