💠 Be there to listen. Sometimes, simply giving your friend a safe space to talk without judgment can mean a great deal.
💠 Respect their privacy. Let your friend decide what they want to share and when. Avoid pressuring them for details they may not be ready to discuss.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲? An annulment is a court order declaring that the marriage was invalid from the beginning and never existed. Annulments are relatively rare in Maryland because, unlike a divorce, an annulment is available only in limited circumstances recognized by law, such as:

▫️ One spouse was already legally married to someone else.
▫️ One party lacked the capacity to marry (for example, because of age or mental incapacity).
▫️ The marriage was induced by fraud or duress in situations that go to the essence of the marriage.
▫️ The spouses are too closely related by blood.
