Thank You, Shell Point Retirement Community & the Legacy Foundation! 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to Melissa, Sally, Tiffany, Kim, the entire Legacy Foundation team, David, and all of the Shell Point staff for the time, effort, and care that went into organizing our presentation at Shell Point last week. You truly helped make the event such a wonderful success!

The room was full, and we were so excited by the turnout and the thoughtful questions and conversations with the residents. It was especially meaningful to us because our parents were able to attend, too! ❤️

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with the Shell Point community, share why thoughtful estate planning matters, and hopefully help residents feel a little more confident about protecting their wishes and their families.

And we’re even more excited for our upcoming Will Clinic days, when we’ll have the opportunity to sit down with residents individually and help them take the next steps toward getting their estate plans in order.

What was the experience actually like?

Looking back, what do you wish you had known before the process began?

At Stellar Law, one of our goals is to help our community better understand probate, what families may encounter along the way, and what can be done beforehand to make things easier for the people left behind.

As attorneys, we can explain the legal side of probate, but some of the most valuable lessons come from people who have actually lived through it. There’s something about hearing from a neighbor or another family that can make an experience feel more real and relatable than simply hearing it from an attorney.

That's why we're hoping our community will share what they've learned. Your experience may help another family feel more prepared when their time comes.

We had the pleasure of meeting today with Dennis Agrusti (Owner) and Karlyn Camacho (Community Outreach & Client Advocate) of Home Helpers - Southwest Florida and came away encouraged by a great conversation about something we both care deeply about—helping families navigate life's important transitions with confidence and compassion.

One of the things we enjoy most is building relationships with professionals who share our commitment to serving the community. Whether it's helping families plan for the future through estate planning or providing quality care and support at home, it all comes back to putting people first.

Thank you for taking the time to meet with us. We truly enjoyed getting to know more about your mission and the work you do every day. We're excited to continue building this relationship and look forward to finding meaningful ways to work together in the future for the benefit of the families we serve.

We had a wonderful time filming an interview for our upcoming Estate Planning Essentials: Understanding Wills, Trusts & Probate seminar at Shell Point!

A heartfelt thank you to Melissa Mitchell, Sally Brumfield, Tiffany Roost, Kim Scales, and Shanna Clark, for your warm hospitality and for the incredible work you do serving the Shell Point community. We truly appreciate the opportunity to partner with you in educating residents about the importance of estate planning.

Nearly every family will face questions about protecting their assets, avoiding probate, planning for incapacity, and ensuring their wishes are honored, yet so many people have never been taught how wills, trusts, probate, or powers of attorney actually work. As a result, families often find themselves forced to make difficult decisions during some of life's hardest moments.

Our goal is to help people understand their options, make informed decisions, and be proactive in creating a plan that both reflects their values and protects the people they love.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming Shell Point seminar and meeting with residents during the complimentary Wills Clinic consultations. Thank you again for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful event!

I had a wonderful visit to Calusa Harbour yesterday and truly enjoyed meeting Morgan Leopard and her outstanding team.

From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much pride the staff takes in creating a welcoming, engaging, and resident-focused environment. Everyone I met was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the community they have built.

What stood out most, however, was the warmth of the residents themselves. As soon as I stepped onto the grounds, a few of the residents welcomed me in and struck up a conversation. It was easy to see the strong sense of community and connection throughout Calusa Harbour. The welcoming atmosphere created by both the residents and staff made a lasting impression.

I was also particularly impressed by the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the community, much of which the residents created themselves. It was a wonderful reflection of the creativity, talent, and active lifestyle that Calusa Harbour encourages and supports.

Of course, one of the highlights of the community is its beautiful waterfront location along the Caloosahatchee River. With stunning views and convenient access to downtown Fort Myers, residents enjoy an active and connected lifestyle while benefiting from the community's amenities and support.

Thank you to Morgan and the entire Calusa Harbour team for taking the time to meet with me and share more about what makes your community such a special place for seniors and their families. We had a wonderful visit to American House The Palms today and truly enjoyed meeting Tami, Jacob, and so many members of their incredible team.

From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the community they have built. One thing that stood out was hearing directly from residents, who consistently spoke highly of both the quality of care and the dining experience.

What impressed us most, however, was the longevity of both the staff and residents. In any senior living community, that kind of longevity speaks volumes. It reflects a culture of trust, strong relationships, consistency, and a genuine commitment to resident well-being.

Thank you to the entire team for taking the time to meet with us and share more about what makes American House The Palms such a special place for seniors and their families. We look forward to staying connected and continuing to learn from organizations that are making a meaningful difference in our community.
