Cocoās Corner š
I took this photo on the first evening of 2026; the very first sunset of the year. At the time, it didnāt feel symbolic or profound. It was quiet. Just another day ending. But I remember standing there longer than I normally would have.
I think as you get older, you stop needing every meaningful moment to announce itself. You realize some of the most important shifts in your life happen quietly. A conversation that changes your perspective. A boundary you learn to keep. A peaceful evening you donāt rush through. A realization that youāre no longer living with the same urgency you once did.
Thatās what this sunset reminds me of now.
Not the beginning of a year, but the feeling of finally understanding that life is not built in the big dramatic moments people post about. Itās built in the ordinary days you were present enough to notice while they were happening. And honestly, I think that kind of awareness is its own form of gratitude.
