Why does anyone need a will?
So that your wishes are carried out when you are no longer around to state them yourself.
Most people assume a will is a document for the wealthy, or something to deal with later in life. It isn't. It is for anyone who has an opinion about what happens to what they have built — and who they trust to handle it.
With a will, you decide:
Property - Which assets go to which people, down to the specifics.
Children - Who raises them, if that day ever comes.
Belongings - Where personal items and family heirlooms land — the things with meaning attached, not just value.
