I absolutely fell in love with this boy! ❤️

Dillon Dingler is a year and a half old, 62 pounds, and packed full of charm, good looks, and sweetness. This handsome guy has a way of winning hearts the moment you meet him. With his adorable face and gentle personality, it’s hard not to fall for him.

🐾❤️ LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT AN AWESOME DOG NAMED CHICO… ❤️🐾

I recently had the privilege of taking Chico out for a break from the shelter, and let me tell you… this boy is the real deal.

From the moment he hopped into the car, Chico was a perfect gentleman. He rode quietly, sitting in the seat looking out the window, taking in all the sights like he was enjoying a little road trip adventure.

Of course, no outing is complete without a stop at McDonald’s. 🍟

And I’m happy to report that Chico gives a big paws-up to Chicken McNuggets! 👍🐾 He took every piece gently from my hand, showing just how sweet and polite he really is.

Chico is the kind of dog who makes everything easy. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys spending time with people, and has the kind of happy-go-lucky personality that would fit right into an active family.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE CHICLETTE’S LIFE. PLEASE SHARE! 📢

Anytime we come in for the day and see blood in a dog’s kennel, we know we have to act fast, especially when it’s due to accidental self-harm.

Chiclette was struggling the first time she was here, but all of our worries disappeared the day she got adopted. Unfortunately, she has been returned as she wasn’t getting along with the other dog in the home. Some dogs truly cannot handle being returned to the shelter. The back and forth leaves them confused, anxious, and heartbroken.

This beautiful girl needs out of the shelter as soon as possible. We are running out of time and desperately searching for either rescue placement or the perfect forever home.

Chiclette is about 3-4 years old and 46 pounds. She requires a meet with other dogs living in the home and would would feel most comfortable around older children (8+ recommended). She is very shy with new people and places, but with a little bit of time and patience, she’ll become the best friend you’ve ever had. She’s playful, affectionate, and curious.

It will be very important for her to have her own space and time to decompress and settle into any new home.

Meet Linus.

This sweet senior gentleman is having a hard time understanding why his world suddenly changed.

Linus came to Genesee County Animal Care as an owner surrender, and shelter life has been scary for him. You can see it in his eyes. He didn't expect to find himself here.

But despite everything, Linus remains the gentle, loving boy he's always been.

At 7 years old and 78 pounds, Linus is a big, lovable loaf who would much rather be lounging beside his people than sitting in a kennel.
