🚨 TRADEMARK SCAM ALERT 🚨
If you have a trademark application filed with the USPTO, PLEASE be careful. Scammers are targeting business owners by sending fake texts, emails, and letters claiming:
❌ Your trademark is about to abandon
❌ Someone else is trying to file a similar mark
❌ You must pay immediately to “protect” your trademark
❌ Your registration is at risk unless you send payment
These messages often look official, use scary language, and pressure you into paying hundreds of dollars quickly. In many cases, they are NOT legitimate.
Remember: your trademark application information is public through the USPTO database, which is how these scammers are finding business owners.
