In a third-party auto negligence case where the plaintiff sought $2.6 million in damages, Zausmer Shareholder Stephanie Strycharz and Principal Attorney Christopher Best secured a defense verdict.

Before trial, the defense conceded that its client was negligent in causing the accident. At trial, Zausmer built its case on challenging the plaintiff’s claim of injuries and serious impairment of body function arising from the accident.

The jury deliberated for about 20 minutes before returning a verdict finding that the plaintiff had not suffered a serious impairment of body function.
