So, I was reading an article in Yahoo finance about the new homebuyers lawsuit that was just filed in Illinois. I saw this comment and i just had to reply to it (that's my reply). I don't understand these lawsuits. Everyone else that works on commission (insurance agents, mortgage brokers etc ...) is allowed to get paid a standard commission for what they do. Why is it just real estate agents who can't get paid a standard commission. Why do we need to work for free if someone doesn't want to pay us? I'm so angry that a whole industry and tens of thousands of people are thrown into turmoil because some lawyers are on a money grab!
