DHS cannot just come and take your kids without a court order. You do not have to agree to voluntary removal or voluntary safety plans either. Just because they threaten to “go get the judge to take away your kids” does not mean that the Judge actually will agree that there is sufficient evidence to remove them on an emergency basis. Assert your Rights. Do not let them boss you around or bully you. Remember, if they’re asking you to agree to remove your children then they probably don’t have enough evidence to force you to do it.
