Happy National Teacher’s Day!

One of the things that makes Danville such a special place to call home is our incredible community of educators. Every day, teachers are helping our kids learn, grow and discover what they’re capable of.

We’re especially proud that several of our local schools have been recognized as California Distinguished Schools, a statewide honor recognizing strong student achievement, progress, instructional programs and positive school climates.

As Native American Day approaches, it’s a wonderful time to remember the history beneath our feet here in Westside Danville. Long before Danville was what it is today, this land was home to the Bay Miwok.
