2015 DECA trip to Orlando.

Today, Sarah and I sold David and Toni Rooney’s home… the place where they raised their family for the last 20 years.

I met David around 2012 when he and a few others talked me into continuing my teaching and coaching career at West Forsyth High School. Looking back now, I had no idea he’d become one of the best friends I’ve ever had.

Over the years, David taught me so much about teaching, DECA, football, leadership, and most importantly, building real relationships with kids. He’s one of those people who leaves a lasting impact everywhere he goes.

We’re excited for David and Toni as they move closer to their kids and grandkids and begin this next chapter of life. Although… I still have a hard time believing David won’t end up coaching football somewhere again before long. 😂

Life moves fast. Grateful for friendships that stand the test of time. ❤️
