I’m proud to once again serve on several Alabama State Bar committees this year:
• Bench and Bar Relations Committee
• Member Benefits Committee
• Co-Chair, Quality of Life, Health & Wellness Committee
On Friday, September 25, I had the honor of attending the inaugural Alabama Bar Leadership Institute. The program featured an outstanding lineup of leaders and speakers, including Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Sarah Stewart, Executive Director Terri Lovell, Law Practice Management Advisor Jillian Evans, my co-chair Effie Hawthorne, Judge Adrian Johnson, Clair Veal, and many other judges and State Bar leaders.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from and work alongside people who are helping lead our State Bar with innovation and purpose for the next generation of Alabama lawyers.
And, of course, a quick stop at a local bookstore to grab a gift for our daughter’s 14th birthday before her celebration was the perfect way to end the day.
