Feels like yesterday, but it was 11 years ago today…Robert and Jay graduated from Chapman University at the TOP of their class. Shortly after graduating and the passing THE BAR, Montanez Yu was born!

We don’t usually step away from work to go have fun but when we do, we make sure its for a good cause! Supporting Corona Rotary! A group of people who believe strong communities are built by helping others. They bring people together to volunteer, support local causes, and make a real difference! We are happy to be part of their success!

Yesterday, someone we know was involved in a hit-and-run. They reported the accident to Law Enforcement. During the report, the officer stepped away to make a phone call. About 10 minutes later, a guy suddenly appeared claiming his wife’s dash cam had captured the crash and asked for her contact info.

But then the story started changing.

First, he said his cousin worked for a law firm. Then he claimed he worked there too. Before leaving, he pushed the injured victim to contact “his” law firm. After she left she started to get phones from the law firm.

This is wrong on so many levels. Unethical “professionals” exploiting the vulnerability of injured people in stressful moments.

Here’s what everyone should know after an accident:

* You have the right to choose your own attorney.

* No ethical law firm should pressure or solicit you at the scene of a crash.

*Be cautious of strangers suddenly appearing with referrals or legal recommendations and asking for YOUR information.

If people truly want to help, they’ll leave their infomation and be on their way.

An accident are confusing enough. Don’t let anyone take advantage when you are in a vulnerable state.

Btw She has yet to see the wife’s dash cam 🙄

Sometimes the best results don’t come all at once… they come layer by layer.

Our painter told us to trust the process as he carefully brings the original tile back to life. It takes time, patience, and attention to every detail—but the result is worth it.

Very much like what we tell our clients after an injury, the process can feel slow. Healing takes time. Building a strong case takes time. But every step matters, and every layer we work through brings you closer to the outcome you deserve.

We just got a dose of our own mantra from Camello the painter.. sigh..

Trust the process. Stay patient. The results are coming.

From showing up and pouring into our community, to rolling up her sleeves getting dust in her hair, and doing whatever needs to be done.

And in between all that? She’s shuttling our constantly on the go, absent-minded, always hungry, non-drivers everywhere they need to be!

She keeps life moving without ever asking for credit (cap).
