A rear-end crash on the freeway can turn into something much more serious in seconds.

After being rear-ended, a driver pulled onto the shoulder and got out to inspect the damage. While he was standing near his vehicle, another car traveling along the freeway struck him.

One crash. Then a second impact involving a pedestrian.
