"It's not uncommon for a housing provider, unfortunately, to deny a reasonable accommodation, not just for an emotional support animal," says LASCO Advocacy Director Kristen Lewis, "but maybe for some other kind of accommodation that a person with a disability might need to be able to live in their housing."

We were excited to welcome members of the education law task force to LASCO last week! Task force members from across Ohio discussed the many civil legal challenges students and their families face, including mental health support, school discipline, transportation, bullying, vouchers, and students in foster care.

LASCO is proud to help students and families access the educational services they deserve so they can thrive in and out of the classroom.
