Last year we started homeschooling our kids using a curriculum called Abeka Homeschool.

My second grade son watches his teacher on the computer and my wife helps him with his school papers and tests.

That teacher is located in Florida and is teaching in a classroom where the child watching interacts as if they are sitting in the class. My son is performing above grade level and starts school at 7 am and is fully finished a full day of school by 9:15 to 9:30 am.
So 2 hours to 2.5 hours total per day.

He started school the same day as other kids who are not home schooled and will be done his full second grade curriculum by May 1.

My other son just turned 5 last month, so he’s not even in kindergarten and he can read and do math.

I’m not saying this to brag about my kids. I’m saying this beause if we can do it, so can you.

An entire school day finished by 9:30 am in the morning and my kids performing above grade level in all subjects. In many cases way above grade level.

You can start your homeschool at anytime during the day or even skip days if you want and have the child make it up another day or do two days in one where they work 4.5 hours instead of the 2 to 2.5. You get the idea.
