✨️ One thing I love about Colorado Springs is that every weekend offers something completely different.
✨️ Date Night: Saturday night brought the energy of Battle MMA Championships at the COS City Hub, where local fighters stepped into the cage in front of a packed crowd. It was my first MMA event. We went to watch and support a friend who fought this weekend.
✨️ Sunday I had the pleasure of volunteering at the 50th anniversary of the Garden of the Gods race, making it one of the longest-running running events in Colorado Springs. My friend Lauren did an amazing job running it this year!
✨️ The event included four race divisions:
10 Mile Race (the signature event)
10K Race
Trail Run
Youth Classic (for younger runners)
My favorite was definitely the little ones who ran!
Full weekend and full week ahead!!

I had the opportunity to join Mary Forrester on the Real Estate Connections Podcast for an important conversation: "Aging Parents... Now What?"

In this approximately 25-minute conversation, we dive into topics that many families eventually face but often aren't prepared for — navigating changing living situations, helping older adults transition into their next chapter, right-sizing, connecting families to resources, and understanding that these decisions involve much more than just a move.

As many of you know, I’m passionate about helping older adults and their families navigate these transitions with compassion, dignity, and support. Sometimes people don't know where to start, what resources are available, or who to trust — and being a resource, advocate, and guide through those moments means so much to me.

A huge thank you to Mary Forrester for having me on. Mary has a strong background and commitment to serving older adults, and I truly admire her passion for building stronger bridges across real estate and community resources. Bringing people together and creating better support systems for families is powerful work.
