From India to the United States — our client has officially received his Green Card in the mail! 🇮🇳🇺🇸
This case was a long and emotional journey, but every step was worth it in the end. Our team first filed his I-130 petition, then successfully obtained approval of his I-601A waiver, and finally guided him through consular processing in his home country. After attending his immigrant visa interview abroad, he was able to return to the United States and begin this new chapter of his life as a lawful permanent resident.
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Reuniting families and helping dreams become reality is always an honor.
Congratulations on your new Green Card! We are incredibly happy for you and grateful to have been part of such an important milestone in your journey.
This case was handled by Attorney Fabiola Cini and Paralegals Mariela Castillo and Azaad Khaira.

Another family reunited. Another life changed through teamwork, persistence, and dedication.
Our client, originally from Mexico, has lived in the United States for more than 15 years. During that time, he built a loving family, maintained a clean record with no criminal history, and became a contributing member of his community. While continuing to pursue his asylum case, he was unexpectedly detained by ICE earlier this year.
After his initial bond hearing was denied on jurisdictional grounds, our team refused to give up.
Attorney Miriam Kobella prepared and filed a Habeas Corpus petition, which helped create the opportunity for a new bond hearing after the first denial. Attorney Nour Chammas then appeared at the subsequent bond hearing and successfully secured bond for our client.
Because of this collaborative effort, our office was able to obtain our client’s release after 5 long months in ICE detention.
Today, he is finally reunited with his family and able to return to work while continuing his legal process.
Cases like this remind us why we fight every day for our clients and their families. Immigration cases like these often take months, and sometimes years, of persistence, preparation, and teamwork before families can finally experience relief and reunification.

From Military Parole in Place to Green Card Approval: A Life-Changing Immigration Success Story
Our office was retained by a client from India to handle his I-485 Adjustment of Status case in the United States.
Mr. P was already in the U.S. after our office successfully obtained approval for his Military Parole in Place application based on his son’s service in the U.S. military. USCIS granted him parole into the United States through the approved Parole in Place application, which gave us the opportunity to file his I-485 Green Card application.
We filed his case with USCIS on May 12, 2025, and he never had to leave the United States during the process. His U.S. citizen son served as the I-130 petitioner.
On May 19, 2026, we received the approval from USCIS. This was wonderful news for a long-running case in which the client had also been in Immigration Court before his case was ultimately dismissed.
Today, he is a happy Green Card holder and will be eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship in five years.
