Please join us in congratulating Attorney Koby Adu-Poku on his recent selection as Head Coach of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Mock Trial Team at CSU College of Law!

Coaching mock trial allows Koby to continue sharpening the same advocacy and litigation skills he uses every day while helping shape the next generation of trial lawyers. Being selected as Head Coach is a significant accomplishment and reflects the confidence placed in Koby’s courtroom presence, legal analysis, and leadership.

During law school, Koby served as a lead advocate on the mock trial team, which became the first in school history to advance and place at a national competition. We are excited to welcome Jordan Taylor to Brad Wolfe Law, L.L.C., as a Law Clerk!

Jordan has already distinguished herself as one of the top students in her class at Cleveland State University College of Law. Earlier this year, Jordan and her team, as members of the CSU Law Moot Court Team, competed in the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Chicago. Jordan was selected as “Best Oralist,” a recognition awarded for exceptional advocacy, clarity, and command of the law before the bench.

Jordan has also earned an impressive twelve (12) CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, which are awarded to the student receiving the highest grade in a law school course. In addition, she serves as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing at CSU Law.

Prior to law school, Jordan graduated summa cm laude from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Biology. Jordan’s academic achievements, advocacy experience, and commitment to excellence make her an outstanding addition to the firm.

On December 5, 2025, Attorney Brad Wolfe presented on the state of Artificial Intelligence and the Law at the 2025 Annual Koblentz, Penvose & Froning, LLC CLE Seminar in Cleveland, Ohio. He addressed an audience of nearly 175 attorneys, judges, and legal professionals.

Brad’s presentation covered what AI is, how generative models operate, and why lawyers should treat these tools as supplemental aids rather than replacements. Attorney Wolfe also discussed emerging issues including hyper-deepfakes, altered digital evidence, the landscape of AI regulation, and the concept that AI is evolving faster than society’s ability to recognize it. He emphasized that, when used responsibly, AI can enhance attorney efficiency and expand access to justice, provided practitioners select the right tools, understand judicial expectations, and rigorously double-check their work by verifying every citation, fact, and output.

Koby has been an integral part of the firm for several years, first serving as a law clerk while completing his studies at Cleveland State University College of Law, where he graduated magna cm laude with a Criminal Law concentration. During law school, Koby served as a lead advocate on the mock trial team, which became the first in school history to advance and place at a national competition.

Before entering the legal field, Koby was a record-breaking collegiate running back at Walsh University, earning national recognition and setting multiple school and conference records which still stand today. He brings that same focus, drive, and leadership to his work as a criminal defense attorney, representing clients in complex and high-stakes matters throughout Northeast Ohio.

Recently, Attorney Brad Wolfe was invited to speak to law students at Cleveland State University College of Law as part of the “Marijuana and Criminal Law in Ohio” course. His presentation explored the complex legal landscape surrounding both medical and recreational ma*****na in the state.

Attorney Wolfe addressed the development of ma*****na laws in Ohio, the current statutory frameworks, and the ongoing evolution of legalization efforts. He also examined common defenses to both federal and state prosecutions involving ma*****na-related offenses, offering students practical insights into how these cases are handled in real-world practice.

As part of the discussion, students reviewed body camera footage and case materials from actual matters, providing them with a practical perspective on the intersection of criminal law and evolving ma*****na policy.
