New concerns surrounding the Keyport landfill cancer cluster are bringing increased attention to possible environmental contamination in Keyport and Union Beach, New Jersey.

As of August 2026, the New Jersey DEP has begun testing 16 locations, including 13 in Keyport and three in Union Beach.
