Our client was charged with:

▪️ Three Counts of R**e (F1)
▪️ Three Counts of Sexual Battery (F3)

He was facing up to 33 years in prison and a lifetime registration requirement as a s*x offender. From day one, our client maintained his innocence. The pressure to plead was immense. The risk of trial was enormous. But innocence is not something you negotiate away.

So Trial Attorney Craig Teepen did what trial lawyers are supposed to do. He prepared. He fought. And he put the State’s case to the test. After a four-day jury trial, the jury had a short deliberation and returned the only verdict that justice demanded: NOT GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS. Let that sink in… A man who was facing decades behind bars walked out of court with his freedom because twelve jurors carefully examined the evidence and refused to convict.

This case is an important reminder:
Not every accusation is proof.
Not every charge is a conviction.
And not every case should end in a plea agreement.

Today is a really special day for a very important person to us. Janna, the one who answers your calls, keeps our chaos organized, and somehow manages to take care of everyone else while handling more than most people could imagine, is celebrating a major milestone today. Not just another birthday… but the end of active cancer treatment! Watching her show up every single day with strength, grace, and a sense of humor through all of this has been nothing short of inspiring. We are so lucky to have her.
