Tuscany really gave me something I’ll carry with me for a lifetime. 🇮🇹
From road trips through the winding Tuscan countryside to exploring San Gimignano, Montepulciano, and Cortona… every stop felt like a scene out of a movie. The people, the food, the conversations, the slower pace of life — all of it reminded me how important it is to truly experience a place, not just visit it.
And honestly, Cortona may have been my favorite town overall. The hilltop views, the energy, the charm of the streets… it truly felt magical. Knowing it was the setting and inspiration behind Under the Tuscan Sun made it even more special. It’s absolutely a place I would visit again.
I also loved my completely random dance moment late at night in the center of the Siena square. One of those free, joyful travel moments you never plan for, but somehow becomes one of the memories you hold onto the most.
And the food? Unreal.
Il Gallo Siena Osteria () was easily one of my top 3 meals of the trip. Incredible food, atmosphere, and one of those dinners you know you’ll still be thinking about years from now.
Ristorante Campo Cedro () was also absolutely fantastic and another reminder of how special dining in Tuscany can feel.
And another top 3 experience for me was La Taverna di Bibbiano — a romantic farmhouse nestled between Siena and Florence overlooking the towers of San Gimignano. The setting alone felt magical, and the meal somehow matched it perfectly.
A special treat along the way was visiting (). Learning about the history of Montepulciano and Vino Nobile while walking through those historic underground cellars was an experience I won’t forget anytime soon.
The people, the food, the views, the memories… truly something I’ll hold onto forever. ❤️
