A buyer’s agreement is required before viewing properties. It authorizes your Realtor to show homes, negotiate on your behalf, and represent your best interests throughout the buying process.
This agreement protects everyone involved by clearly outlining the professional relationship, expectations, and responsibilities. Serious buyers understand that a Realtor’s time, expertise, and guidance have value.
Buyers who are already working with another agent—or who are not genuinely prepared to move forward—may hesitate to sign because they do not want to commit. A buyer’s agreement helps ensure transparency, respect, and a productive partnership from the start.
