💙 A Bittersweet Moment Close to Home 💙

I had the honor of attending the Last Bell Ceremony at my elementary school alma mater, Gerrardstown Elementary— a place that holds so many special memories for me and my family.

This is the same school where my boys spent their elementary years, and where so many members of my family walked those same halls. For generations, Gerrardstown Elementary has been more than just a school—it has been a place of comfort, security, and connection for our small community.

Sitting there , it was hard not to reflect on all the laughter, learning, friendships, and moments that shaped so many lives within those walls. It’s truly the end of an era.

While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I’m so grateful for the role this school has played in our community and in my own family’s story.

Here’s to the memories, the legacy, and all the lives it has touched over the years. 💙
