The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce facilitated another terrific panel discussion for this year's State of Education Breakfast. It featured:

• Dr. Mike Johnson – University of West Georgia
• Dr. Julie Post – West Georgia Technical College
• Dr. Jessica Ainsworth – Carroll County Schools
• Dr. Mark Albertus – Carrollton City Schools
• Patrick Yuran – Oak Mountain Academy

The panelists shared valuable insights into our regional talent pipeline and talked about how educators and employers are partnering to meet workforce needs.

Fun week ahead!! 🇺🇸

Our country's 250th birthday deserves more than a one-day celebration! Carrollton’s festivities kick off with the Carrollton Wind Ensemble / Carroll County Community Chorus' American Marches and More! concert July 2 and the Carrollton Jazz Orchestra's American Jazz concert July 3, at the Amp, starting at 8pm each night. July 4, celebrate the USA's special day with the Carrollton Sertoma Club’s People’s Parade at 10am downtown and the CSO’s Sounds of Liberty concert at 8:15pm at the city schools complex. The city’s annual fireworks extravaganza will end the concert – and the night – with a bang!
