It's election season. You can tell by all the candidates' signs, many of which appear along roadsides, especially at intersections. Georgia Code 32-6-51 states that “it shall be unlawful for any person to erect, place or maintain within the right of way of any public road any sign, signal or other device except as authorized by subsection (d) of this Code section.” Most counties and cities have ordinances that prohibit placing signs on right of ways. If you want to support someone, put their sign in your yard. If candidates can't get folks to put put signs in their yards, maybe they shouldn't be running.
