⚖️ Concur or Object: Should the Small Claims Limit Be Raised?
Florida's small claims courts currently handle disputes up to $8,000.
Kara Rogers argues it's time to raise the limit to at least $10,000 because inflation has reduced the value of $8,000, and many common disputes now exceed that amount.
Robson Powers believes the limit should stay where it is. Small claims court was designed to be a simple, efficient process that allows individuals to resolve smaller disputes without the expense and complexity of traditional litigation.
