We have some exciting news to celebrate…our team member, Taylor, has officially PASSED THE FLORIDA BAR EXAM!!🥳

Taylor joined our firm last May at the end of her 2L year at Ave Maria School of Law. She has worked in the probate and estate planning department and has shown true dedication to the legal world, to our community, and to the team.

In December, Taylor graduated a full semester early and immediately began preparing for the bar. Passing on her first attempt makes this achievement even more impressive.

Please join us in congratulating Taylor on this incredible milestone. Over the next week, she will officially transition from law clerk to licensed attorney, we couldn’t be more proud!

29 years ago today, I opened my law office in a spare bedroom in Northeast Ohio, with a 6-week-old baby and a incredibly supportive husband and family by my side.

There was no roadmap. Just a deep belief that seniors and families deserved someone truly in their corner when it came to planning for the future.

In 2004, we packed up and planted new roots in Southwest Florida, and kept building.

That spare bedroom has grown into a team of 12. And the work we do together, helping families protect what they've built and plan for what's ahead, never gets old.

This milestone feels like more than an anniversary. It feels like a timeless legacy in the making.

To my husband and family who believed in me from day one, to our incredible team, and to every client who has trusted us with something so personal - thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

Here's to 29 years. 💙

Last evening, Amy McGarry Law had the honor of participating in the Edison Festival of Light Parade, walking alongside The Dubin Center, a community dedicated to ensuring that no one faces dementia alone.

Our Elder Care Coordinator, Jaimee Thompson, walked in loving memory of her father, “Pappy,” carrying a lantern as a symbol of light, love, and lasting legacy. It was her father who shaped the heart behind her work, teaching her compassion, resilience, and the importance of caring for others. Those lessons helped guide her path to becoming the advocate, supporter, and Elder Care Coordinator she is today.

Moments like these remind us why this work matters… supporting families, honoring lives, and walking beside our community through some of life’s most meaningful journeys.
