Another strong result in the courtroom for our client! This is why having an attorney who carefully reviews the evidence, challenges the State’s case, and fights for your rights matters.

In this case, the charges were dismissed after the State determined the evidence was not sufficient to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

At Speights Law, we believe every case deserves a strong defense and relentless advocacy. ⚖️

A question we hear a lot is, “Can I call someone after I’m arrested?”

In most cases, yes. You’re typically allowed to make a phone call, and that call matters more than you might think.

Keep it simple. Avoid talking about details of your situation, and focus on reaching someone who can help you secure legal guidance quickly. What you say on that call could still be recorded, so it’s best to save the details for your attorney.
