Update 8/17/2026 at 10:37am
We want to clarify the timeline of Mr Glenโs movements and provide an update.
We know Mr Glen was in the Southbrook Village area during the early morning hours of Thursday, August 13. He was observed walking in the area as he normally does.
At approximately 1:15 p.m., Mr Glen was captured on video at the shopping center. At approximately 2:00 p.m., he accepted a ride from an individual to Pelham. This has been confirmed.
At this point, we do not know how Mr Glen returned to Alabaster. However, we know he did return. Based on where he was dropped off, it would have been a significant distance for him to walk, and we believe he likely received another ride back to Alabaster.
At approximately 6:45 p.m., Mr Glen was seen back at the shopping center by an individual who knows him well. Based on our investigation, we believe this sighting is accurate. This is the last confirmed sighting of Mr Glen.
Since Mr Glen was reported missing, detectives have conducted extensive searches and followed up on numerous leads. We have requested assistance from agencies outside our area, distributed information to agencies throughout the region, obtained and reviewed available surveillance video, and utilized drones and other technology and investigative techniques in an effort to locate Mr Glen and determine his whereabouts.
Mr Glenโs family has advised that he has medical issues that may make it difficult for him to clearly communicate information to others.
We also want to clarify two points of misinformation currently circulating. Contrary to some reports, it is not true that Mr Glen never gets into vehicles with other people. We have confirmed that he did accept a ride on August 13. Additionally, Mr Glen did not have a cell phone with him.
If you gave Mr Glen a ride back to Alabaster on Thursday, August 13, or if you have any other information regarding his whereabouts, please call 911. Even if you believe the information may be insignificant, we ask that you contact us.
