Vicevich Law

Vicevich Law Vicevich Law was formed to foster the development of a new model of law practice. The explosion of technology changed the practice of law.

Law firms anchored to a physical site and reliant on over-specialization, large support staff, and paper files became obsolete rapidly in the last decade. The State Bar of Montana recognizes that law practice in Montana is falling behind the national trend of adapting to technology. Many courts now only accept electronic filings and the electronic courtroom has arrived. Exhibits and transcripts ar

e available instantly in court to judges, lawyers, and jurors on computer monitors. Vicevich Law has a proactive approach to technology allowing clients electronic access to their files at anytime, from anywhere. Coupling Vicevich's extensive litigation experience in countless types of proceedings in varying legal, administrative and political forums over a large geographic area with the efficiency of technology results in a potent ability to advocate and communicate with clients. The use of technology and vast litigation experience permits Vicevich Law to research, prepare, and litigate varying types of cases from a mobile law office. The law changes quickly and Vicevich Law's general ability to litigate, write, persuade, and learn in harmony with technology used as a tool to access to courts, agencies, other lawyers and the law itself provides service beyond the hyper specialization and warehouse model of a law firm. The interaction of law and technology have created an overlap in fields of law. For example, a criminal case may impact employment, child custody, professional/occupational licensing, immigration and wills and estates. A specialist in any one area is obsolete, being thrown on the trash heap of history by technology and economic trends.

Turns out salmon are quite the party animals.

A group of scientists from Australia's Griffith University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences exposed 105 wild Atlantic salmon to co***ne and benzoylecgonine and studied the results.

They discovered that the fish exposed to the drugs swam nearly twice as far per week, covering up to eight more miles than their sober counterparts.
