It is happening!
The grand opening for the new Costco at South Meridian Road and Lake Hazel Road is set for Thurs, November 5th at 8:30 am.
Here’s everything you need to know:
📐 200,342 square feet total - the largest Costco in Meridian
📐 174,306 square feet of actual warehouse space - bigger than the entire Boise location
⛽ 16 pump fuel station (including Diesel)
🅿️ 903 parking stalls
📦 A rare Market Delivery Operations center for large and bulky home delivery - not found at most Costco locations
🏆 Makes Meridian the only city in Idaho with 2 Costcos
📍 4th Costco in the Treasure Valley and 8th in the state
Two brand new traffic signals are already live at both entrances ahead of opening day.
Based on what we’ve seen at other Costco grand openings, expect a ribbon cutting early morning, doors opening shortly after and a line that starts the night before…. Plan accordingly. 😂
This is South Meridian growing up in real time.
Comment “COSTCO” and I’ll send you the full story.
