Today feels a little different when you hug your children a little tighter. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, beach plans, or barbecues. It’s a reminder that the freedoms we often take for granted came at an unimaginable cost for so many families.

“Home of the free because of the brave” means even more when you’re a parent. Because behind every American flag waving today is someone’s son, someone’s daughter, someone’s mother, someone’s father… someone who was deeply loved.

As a mom, I can’t help but think about the families who made the ultimate sacrifice and the loved ones who carry that loss every single day.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for this country.

Grateful for the freedom to raise my children here.
Grateful for the people who made that freedom possible. ❤️🤍💙

Wishing everyone a meaningful and safe Memorial Day.

"It's really putting a gun to the homeowner's head," Tolley said. "This is the clearest example of denying a constitutional right. You are forcing these people to take out these policies and then forcing them to give up their right to a jury trial and go to an arbitration court. This is fundamentally against the principles that America was established on, that our constitution was based on."

Frustration continues to mount among Citizens Insurance policyholders and their attorneys after a last-minute collapse of a bill they say would have made the claims process more fair.

An official statement… from someone who takes KitKats very seriously.

All jokes aside, situations like this highlight a real issue we see every day. When property is lost, stolen, or damaged, the outcome of a claim often comes down to how well it’s documented and presented.

And too often, valid claims are denied or underpaid when they shouldn’t be.

(Also… this one hits a little closer to home. 🍫)
