Did you know Labor Day isn’t one of Florida’s designated holidays for consumer fireworks?
Florida specifically allows personal use of consumer fireworks on New Year’s Day, July 4th and New Year’s Eve.
Labor Day didn’t make the list.
I thought this was a good one to share because fireworks still tend to show up at long-weekend celebrations, and there’s another side of this people don’t always think about: what happens if someone actually gets hurt?
Who may be responsible can depend on who was using the fireworks, where it happened and whether there was an issue with the firework itself.
I broke all of that down in a new post on the blog - read it at the link in my bio.
If you or your child is seriously injured by fireworks, reach out as soon as possible. The details of how it happened, who set them off and where it happened can all matter, and I can help you figure out what to do next.
