Birmingham Association of REALTORS®, Inc. The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® is the Premier Resource for Real Estate Information and Education in Birmingham and Central Alabama.

The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® has served as the “Voice of Real Estate” in Central Alabama since 1911, issuing statistical analysis of market conditions, offering legislative support to its members and the industry at large and serving as the premier resource for all things real estate in Birmingham and Central Alabama. By promoting the highest standards of Professionalism, Ethics, Education, and Technology, BAR ensures that our REALTOR® members are the primary source for real estate. The Birmingham Association of REALTORS® has approximately 3,200 members, and serves the Alabama counties of Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, Calhoun and St. Clair, as well as other outlying areas and municipalities. BAR is affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS®, the largest trade association in the world, which has a total membership of more than one million.

🎓 Congratulations to the 2026 Leadership Academy graduates! 🎉

We were proud to celebrate this year’s class during BAR and GALMLS’s Annual Meeting on October 1 as they marked the completion of an incredible leadership journey.

Leadership Academy develops the leaders who help shape the future of real estate. This year’s class project raised $11,400 for Spring Valley School. The money raised will support improvements and updates to the school’s athletic fields, providing students with quality spaces for athletics.
