🏁 A Look Back at the International Six Days Enduro
The oldest “off-road” competition on the FIM calendar is the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), originally known as the International Six Days Trial (ISDT).
The first ISDT was held in 1913 in England. With interruptions caused by World War I and World War II, the event has continued through the years, traveling to a variety of locations around the world.
In 1964, the United States sent its first team to compete in the ISDT. Among the American riders were Steve McQueen, Bud Ekins, and others, marking an important moment in the history of American off-road motorcycling.
More than a century later, the ISDE remains one of the most significant events in the world of enduro and off-road motorcycle competition. 🏍️
