Fall is officially here, and while we are all enjoying the cooler breeze and football season, it’s also the absolute best time to prep your home for the colder months ahead.

🍂🏡A little bit of preventive maintenance right now saves you from major headaches (and costly repairs) when winter arrives.

To help you get started, here is a breakdown of the 5 essential tasks on my Fall Homeowner Checklist:

1️⃣ Clean Gutters and Downspouts: Falling leaves quickly clog up your system. Clearing them out prevents water from backing up, freezing, and damaging your roof, siding, and foundation.

2️⃣ Replace HVAC Filters: Your heating system is about to work overtime. Changing the filter now ensures better airflow, lowers your energy bills, and keeps your indoor air clean.
