Isidro “René” DeRojas is a bilingual Hispanic-American with extensive experience in litigating and mediating personal injury disputes in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana. Since 1991, he has been with the firm of McCranie, Sistrunk, Anzelmo, Hardy, McDaniel & Welch where he maintains a diversified defense practice that includes personal injury, premises liability, automobile liability, pharmacy malpractice, products liability, homeowners and workers’ comp.

Mr. DeRojas has received Martindale Hubbell’s highest rating of “AV”. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans in 1984, his JD degree from Loyola University School of Law in 1987, and he attended the College of Trial Advocacy at Hastings College of the Law in 1988. He completed Civil, Commercial & Employment Mediation Training with the Mediation Institute in 2013, and he has been on the Perry Dampf Panel of Mediators since 2014.

Robert J. "Bob" David, Jr. has been a full-time dispute resolution professional for six years. Over the course of his career, he has mediated disputes of every size and level of complexity in Louisiana and other states. He regularly conducts mediations involving multiple parties and class allegations. His mediation practice spans a broad range of subject areas, including products liability, personal injury, insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability, commercial disputes, breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, trade secrets, employment, and civil rights.

Before devoting his career exclusively to dispute resolution, Bob was a litigator. He handled arbitrations, administrative trials, and litigation in over 25 states. He has tried cases to verdict on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

He is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for the Louisiana State Law Institute, advising the Louisiana Legislature on statutory drafting. Robert Dampf is a founding principal of Perry Dampf and was a member in the Lake Charles law firm of Stockwell, Sievert, Viccellio, Clements & Shaddock, LLP for 38 years. Bringing unmatched legal experience, Justice Scott Crichton (Ret.) joined Perry Dampf following his retirement from the Louisiana Supreme Court, where he served as Associate Justice from 2015 to 2024. Prior to his service on the state's highest court, he was a district court judge from 1991 to 2014 and practiced as a litigator from 1981 to 1990. Since joining Perry Dampf, Justice Crichton has successfully mediated and arbitrated complex disputes across Louisiana, from Shreveport to New Orleans and throughout the state.

Known for his diligence, integrity, and professionalism as well as his outgoing and approachable manner, Scott offers these qualities to the mediation and arbitration process. He is able to analyze complex issues through the lenses of both a trial and appellate jurist.

During his tenure on the Supreme Court, he presided over thousands of cases and authored hundreds of opinions, concurrences and dissents. Before retiring from his firm in 2016, Jeff Cole's practice was primarily in insurance defense and workers’ compensation defense litigation. He participated in a wide variety of litigation, including products liability, trucking accidents, premises liability, automobile accident cases and business litigation.

Jeff served by appointment of the Supreme Court on the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee, and in the past served on the Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee and the Ad Hoc Committee to study the finances of the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, also both appointments by the Louisiana Supreme Court. He was also appointed by US District Judge James Cain to mediate Hurricane Laura and Delta claims.

David Clement joined the Perry Dampf panel in 2014 serving as a mediator, arbitrator, and umpire for a wide variety of claims. His background in architecture provides special insight for a neutral’s evaluative role in construction, property damage, and insurance bad faith mediations.

In 2013, David completed the “Mediating Disputes” coursework at the Harvard Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Since 2019, he has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law teaching Mediation and Arbitration to third- and fourth-year law students.
