We are a professional society of legal scholars who are leaders in the Texas legal community and champions of legal education. Our members are committed to high ethical standards and improved training for all legal professionals.

We recognize attorneys, paralegals, and judges who complete more CLE hours than the State Bar of Texas requires, not because they have to, but because they choose to.

Al Harrison, a member of Texas Bar College, joined years ago after watching several colleagues who were exceptional practitioners and dedicated contributors to the bar at large. He got involved on committees, eventually chairing a few sections, and found real fulfillment in the work. Being among a group of scholarly peers who value quality education and giving back to the legal profession has been a true inspiration for him.
